I’ve always been a buy and hold investor, focused on utility projects that actually make sense to me.
Sometimes that worked out great, $TAO, $KAS and $BTC for instance.
Sometimes it didn’t.
But for the first time since I started in crypto back in 2017, it feels like the conditions are genuinely skewed in my favor, especially within $dTAO.
The main reason is simple: you’re being compensated really well just for holding.
With APYs in the 30–40% range (and sometimes higher), time is finally working with you instead of against you.
Score is the perfect example for me.
I’ve been accumulating over a longer period, bringing my average entry well below the current price. But what makes it different now is that I don’t feel any pressure to rotate or trade.
Holding itself becomes a strategy.
You earn yield, lower your average over time and you stay exposed to the upside of a subnet that’s actually building and landing real world value.
And that changes everything about how I approach investing.
For the first time in a long time, I feel like patience is being rewarded again.
And I’m leaning into that.
