Tokenized gold added nearly 120,000 new holders between July and September, marking its strongest quarterly growth yet — three times higher than any previous quarter. The total number of holders has now surpassed 337,000.
During the same period, the value of tokenized gold holdings climbed 12%, exceeding $5 billion.
With gold prices rising only around 4%, the surge was driven mainly by investors accumulating more gold on-chain rather than simply benefiting from price appreciation.
