One of the most interesting questions heading into the next crypto bull market is: Will the winners of the bear market remain the winners in the bull market? 👀 Historically, that hasn’t always been the case. In previous cycles, the assets that performed well during the bear market often became laggards once the bull market really took off. $LINK is a great example from 2019–2020. But there are exceptions. $BNB made a new $ATH during the bear market and then went on to perform incredibly well in 2021. And honestly, this feels like the perfect place to mention $HYPE. Crypto as an asset class is much more mature heading into 2027 and beyond. I think we’re gradually moving away from pure speculation, which means the winners of this bear market could potentially continue outperforming — especially if their strength is backed by real revenue, real users, and actual adoption. This could be the cycle where fundamentals finally get rewarded more consistently. I also continue to believe $ZEC could be a major outlier. After doing almost nothing for nearly a decade, $ZEC has now maintained a year-long outperformance trend against $BTC. That kind of sustained relative strength after such prolonged underperformance is extremely unusual. So, food for thought: Don’t blindly assume you already own the winning bags just because they’re performing well today. The next phase of the cycle could completely reshape the leaderboard. 👀 $BTC $BNB $HYPE $ZEC $LINK
