META $META BOUGHT BACK ZERO STOCK LAST QUARTER AND BORROWED $24.9 BILLION INSTEAD
A year ago the same quarter had $10.2B of buybacks and no new debt.
Long-term debt now sits at $83.7B, up from $58.7B at year end. Property and equipment on the books hit $225.7B, up nearly $50B in six months.
The dividend survived at $1.35B. The buyback did not.
Every spare dollar, plus $25B of borrowed ones, is going into data centers now.
