$BCH settled 14.9k transactions in the 24h to Oct 9. Miners earned about 0.24 BCH in fees against 378 BCH of subsidy. Busy isn’t paid. At roughly $0.005 a transaction, doubling usage barely moves it. And the 2028 halving cuts the subsidy to about 225 BCH a day, so by my math fees need around 100x today’s level just to reach 10% of miner income. The open question isn’t throughput. It’s who pays for hashrate while blocks stay cheap. #TeslaRoadsterUnveiled
