I get why you’re scared. What you’re describing is a high-volatility, whipsaw environment—the danger isn’t only a sustained drop, but getting caught on the wrong side of a sudden move. A few things to keep in mind: Funding rates are signals, not guarantees. ETH negative funding can mean shorts are crowded, but it doesn't by itself prove that ETH must rebound. “Whales are shorting” is difficult to interpret in isolation. Large positions can be hedges rather than outright directional bets.
