$QQQ just entered correction territory - down 10% from all-time highs. Sounds scary. So I pulled 25 years of data on every time QQQ entered a 10%+ correction after making a fresh all-time high. That's happened just 15 times since 2000, including 5 times during the AI bull market that began in January 2023. Full sample (all 15 corrections): - 3 months later: +8.5% avg | 73% win rate - 6 months later: +12.5% avg | 79% win rate - 12 months later: +3.1% avg | 64% win rate Modern era (2018-present): - 3 months later: +10% avg | 82% win rate - 6 months later: +18% avg | 90% win rate - 12 months later: +22% avg | 90% win rate The two major exceptions: - 2000: The dot-com bubble burst after extreme valuations. - 2022: The Fed's most aggressive tightening cycle in decades turned a correction into a bear market. History doesn't guarantee the future, but most QQQ corrections during bull markets have historically been opportunities not disasters.
