$ONE: An Infinite Money-Printing Exploit?
In August 2026, the Harmony chain reportedly suffered a major security breach, with hackers exploiting a vulnerability to mint 4 billion ONE tokens out of thin air — approximately 26% of the total supply.
This is essentially the crypto equivalent of a central bank losing control of its money-printing system. Such an exploit raises serious concerns about unlimited token inflation, supply dilution, and massive selling pressure.
