Rollups need somewhere cheap to post their data, and Celestia built its whole design around that one job. If modular chains keep multiplying, that role stays relevant. But data availability has become a crowded corner, with alternatives competing on cost and security. Celestia's future depends on how many rollups actually choose it, and keep choosing it.
