Polkadot’s core thesis revolves around interoperability rather than simply becoming another application chain. Its architecture is designed to let specialized networks communicate within a broader ecosystem. That approach remains relevant as blockchain infrastructure becomes increasingly fragmented. The difficult part is generating enough developer and user activity across the ecosystem to make interoperability economically valuable rather than merely technically impressive.
