I started following Ed (@Ed_x0101) during the bear market the year before last, when his tweets were mainly focused on research and investment content. During the bear market, there was an inexplicable preference for so-called long articles, so research and investment bloggers could effectively accumulate followers and establish their brand through high-quality output. In July 2024, when I left the exchange and started a marketing studio—JE Labs, I specifically scheduled a call with Ed for advice. I remember the KOL Round strategy was in full swing at that time, and Ed was focusing on the TON ecosystem while also engaging in some project KOL marketing and investment incubation. For a long time afterward, except for some interactions at events in Korea, we didn't have much contact. Later on, I noticed that with several major market trends like PNUT, he quickly became a prominent figure, and his PnL was the result of accumulated experience from different stages. Looking back at Ed's tweet summary, I was suddenly amazed by his keen response and control over opportunities at each market stage. -- Although market hotspots are constantly changing and opportunities keep emerging, the opportunities each person can seize in each cycle are actually very limited. Perhaps everyone has a chance to become famous, but when the opportunity comes, whether you have the cards, whether the deck is suitable, whether you play the cards timely... there are too many influencing factors. Some people's cards seem to be played beautifully, riding the market's momentum, but what is unseen is the accumulation across cycles behind it. So while waiting for the right moment, one must also avoid being thrown off by temporary FOMO. Additionally, believe that every step taken counts. Maintain respect and sensitivity to the market, continuously learn and iterate, and prepare for every possible opportunity that may come.
