Instead of using multiple products, protocols, features and websites, when you want to sell your crypto for stablecoins (which you donât need to spend/send immediately somewhere else), you can just sell directly in swap page into yield bearing stablecoins (a)usdt/c.
Great to see how multiple primitives vertically and natively integrated together can provide better ux and parameters for users.
PS: Yields in screenshots are w/o incentives :))
PS2: Why would anyone want to slow down progress and traction of best dapp & products ecosystem can offer now đ«š
Pro tip for users of Hydration đĄ
If you're holding Polkadot native USDT or USDC, you should consider instead holding aUSDT & aUSDC
With our multi-AMM trade router recently integrating collateral assets (aTokens) - you can trade with these assets in exactly the same way as you can the underlying assets
This means you could be earning APY from borrowers - currently around 8% on both - in between your trades
A few things to consider:
- as these assets can be borrowed, depending on overall utilization it is possible at times you would be unable to withdraw immediately (APY would be crazy high in this scenario though)
- it is not possible to use these for paying transaction fees, so make sure you've got enough of another asset to pay for gas!
