Trading bots carry risk and do not guarantee profits. Review before starting to make sure you understand the product.

OKX's Trading Bots execute trades based on predefined parameters which you set. Execution is subject to slippage, delays, possible failures due to low liquidity, rapid price movements, technical limitations, or any incorrect settings you might input.

OKX doesn't provide financial advice nor guarantee bot performance and its liability is limited by its Terms of Service (Terms). Please review our Terms, visit our FAQ section (refer to the book icon on the relevant page), and ensure you understand the risks / seek professional advice if needed before you trade.

Keep in mind that a bot will stop operating under the following circumstances:

  1. Based on your parameter settings: the bot will stop trading when it reaches specific conditions or thresholds you have configured. For example:

    1. Spot grid bot: if the price falls below the lower limit of the price range, the bot will stop placing new orders.

    2. DCA bot: if the number of safety orders reaches the maximum limit, the bot won't place further orders.

    3. You can also configure stop-loss limits and profit targets which will automatically stop certain bots once those orders are executed.

2. Unpredictable circumstances: certain bots may stop operating due to unforeseen circumstances that trigger OKX's Risk Management Stop (RMS) protocols, such as the delisting or suspension of the underlying cryptocurrency.

3. Manual stop: you can manually stop the bot at any time by selecting 'Stop' on the platform.

It's your responsibility to check on your trading bots regularly to see if any of them have stopped due to the above.

Wholesale customers: Some bots may be available for derivatives trading, which is accessible only to verified wholesale customers. These bots may impact your margin requirements and risk exposure. Please consider and make sure you fully understand these implications when using these bots.
