Nền tảng bảo mật Socket phát hiện tiện ích mở rộng độc hại "Safery: Ethereum Wallet" xếp hạng 4 trong tìm kiếm "Ethereum Wallet" trên Chrome Web Store - ngay sau các ví uy tín như MetaMask.
Thủ đoạn của tiện ích này là mã hóa seed phrase của nạn nhân thành địa chỉ Sui và gửi các giao dịch vi mô từ ví Sui do kẻ tấn công kiểm soát. Cụ thể, khi người dùng tạo hoặc nhập ví, seed phrase sẽ được mã hóa thành địa chỉ Sui giả và gửi 0.000001 SUI đến các địa chỉ này. Kẻ tấn công sau đó giải mã để lấy lại seed phrase gốc.
