Weโre excited to launch our first x402 product โ a fun social experiment with a 10s test token and SOON rewards.
Using x402 on @base is indeed extremely fast, but due to EVMโs inherent nonce constraints, the 10s token couldnโt be issued in time. This surfaced the parallel-transaction limitation of EVM. The issue is already resolved โ missing tokens will be minted to users whose predictions were correct.
Big thanks to @coinbase for pushing the exploration around x402. Weโre also looking forward to working with @base to solve parallel-transaction problems (SoonBase is part of that). At this point, there are two ways forward: either @megaeth / @monad focus on parallelized execution, or โ like us and @solana โ evolve SVM-based parallel transaction infra.
