excellent thread fundamentally, any privacy system will be as private as the user's opsec allows i.e if you deposit 1.69 SOL into a mixer and immediately take out 1.69 SOL right after — you have not done much... privacy comes from value at rest and good opsec the best thing to do is to shield some ZEC and then forget about it, let time conceal your moves if you are consistently bridging back and forth (and revealing transparent refund addresses), you are obviously revealing information

1/ As part of my work I like to test out privacy products and figure out what works and what doesn’t so I can abuse any design flaws for my investigations. With the recent hype around Zashi & its Near Intents integration I tested it for Zcash.
