GM Skaliens! Today SKALE turns 5 years old! We’ve come a long way, from our mainnet launch five years ago to today’s thriving ecosystem. Here’s a special throwback: one photo from the original mainnet launch and one from today’s celebration 🎂🚀 Here’s a closer look at what the team has been building over the past two weeks. @SkaleNetwork @SkaleDevelopers @FAIR_Blockchain Stan @Stan_Kladko developed x402 payments prototype for FAIR D3 @rikon_azane prepared rollout plan for FAIR Testnet V2 and supported its launch. Also updated RNG functionality for FAIR. Polina @PKiporenko worked on a section of the improvement proposal for the SKALE economic model, brainstorming strategies for a specific segment. She also contributed to the SKALE GitHub strategy, focusing on updates and general cleanup to improve overall organization. D1 @dmtkatwork fixed multiple bugs in the CLI, admin and transaction-manager, upgraded node packages and components to use the latest dependencies, updated FAIR & SKALE revese proxy. Alex @Alex_Sheverdin adapted the FAIR network monitoring server for use on multiple networks and developed enhanced state root monitoring for FAIR testnet. He also added several new features to FAIR node provisioning. Inês @ines_skale_ together with Karina and Vadim, worked on setting up the new Legacy network on Portal. She also finished developing Portal 4.2, including adding a new UI to the existing exit gas wallet page. Meanwhile, she added new projects to the Ecosystem page on Portal as well. D2 @DmytroStebaiev changed calculations related to a node fee and staking rewards flow. Also fixed several small inaccuracies and prepared new beta version of fair-manager. Vadim @yavrsky participated in updating blockscout for FAIR Testnet and helped setting up the Legacy network for Portal 4.2. Eduardo @eduardo34203919 is working with fuzz testing tools on fair-manager smart-contract, worked in fixing small bugs found. Also investigated gas issues with alive() calls, and is working on improvements for gas efficiency and estimation of this call. Oleh @olehskl has fixed a number of stability / performance issues that were found during the FAIR testnet operation over the past 2 weeks. Ivan @Ivan3423145 fixed state root mismatch issue related to block rewards. Improved response time of eth_getLogs for request with large number of logs. He also supported testnet V2 validator onboarding. Sidnei @sidneitex updated consensus and skaled to use the updated libBLS. Sasha 1 @SemiDennisJJ, over the past two weeks, completed testing for the Testnet V2 that includes staking, block reward distribution, and passive and active node setup. Sasha 2, was preparing for and launched FAIR Testnet V2 and it's infrastructure. Karina @karina_yavorska together with Inês and Vadim, finished setting up the Legacy network for Portal 4.2 testing by deploying the needed contracts. She also reviewed upcoming features and test cases. Nata @NatashaSheverd1 focused on collecting project data, improved DevSuccess processes through an initiative tracker, and continued supporting SKALE testnet projects.
