The last day of the Anoma testnet, today all fitcoin was consumed, marking a perfect conclusion.
The upcoming NFT, mainnet launch, and the recently announced Anoma Pay, the future roadmap is seamless.
Let’s focus on @AnomaPay, as the name suggests, it’s a platform related to stablecoin payments.
There’s nothing particularly exciting about payments, but what about intent-based payments?
📌 This is the biggest highlight of @anoma:
Intent Layer + Multi-round negotiation solving + ZK privacy encapsulation + Partial order state updates.
1) Intent Layer: Users do not initiate transactions but publish intents.
Users do not execute transactions; they simply broadcast an intent (e.g., "pay 100 USDC to BNB chain").
This intent does not include paths, currencies, cross-chain parameters, etc., it only expresses the goal.
2) Solver Network: Automatically solves payment paths around intents.
Multiple solvers listen for intents.
They match based on real-time on-chain data, such as using an A→B exchange path, or a currency exchange combination of USDC→ETH→USDT.
If there are multiple intents (e.g., payer, payee, exchanger), the Solver will package them into a single transaction body, forming a multi-party consensus solution.
3) PoS state model: Allows asynchronous transaction combinations, supporting delayed confirmations.
Traditional chains require transactions to be executed in strict order, Anoma uses a partially ordered set state system.
Multiple intents can be solved concurrently and settled together, enhancing the ability to combine payment paths.
4) ZK encapsulation: Hides transaction details before payment completion.
Users can choose to enable ZK privacy; the intent itself does not expose the amount or the payee.
The Solver verifies its validity after decryption, but the minimum verifiable information remains on-chain.
Ensures privacy consistency before, during, and after the transaction.
5) Fee abstraction: Fees can be deducted from any token.
Users do not need to hold gas tokens; AnomaPay automatically deducts fees from available tokens, breaking through the bottleneck of multi-chain wallet collaboration.
📌 Traditional payment protocols attempt to create an on-chain Paypal, but what Anoma aims to do is completely different intent-based payments!
From the three layers of the testnet Anoma OS, it’s clear that the real strength of this system lies in the second and third layers.
The first layer of intent operations can be simplified into an interaction, but the underlying actions are hidden in the execution of the second and third layers.
This is the true intent philosophy of @anoma.
