Has anyone else encountered malicious price changes by U merchants in Binance's deposit and withdrawal process like I have? ⚠️
Here's what happened: I withdrew from Binance C2C at noon, and at that time, most U merchants were priced at 7.14. I refreshed the page and saw a price of 7.15, so I clicked in to confirm.
After entering the amount I wanted to withdraw and clicking confirm again, a prompt popped up saying the price had changed. So I refreshed the page again and clicked confirm, which led me into the chat and transaction process.
I stayed on the chat page for 30 seconds and suddenly noticed the price was wrong; it had changed from 7.15 to 7.05, a difference of 0.1.
This means if I were to withdraw 5,000, I would end up losing 5,000 RMB.
The response from this U merchant, who has a shield and gold medal, was "normal fluctuation" 😅
Many people might have been scammed like this but didn't notice because they didn't check carefully. I suggest everyone check their past deposit and withdrawal records for any outrageous exchange rates, and also, can the platform do something about this...? @binance @binancezh
