Unimon’s back — and the stakes are higher than ever. After debuting as a DeFi-meets-NFT strategy game on Unichain using Uniswap V4 hooks, Unimon returns for a second season. This time, the 1st-place winner can take home up to 27.75 ETH.👇 ~~ Analysis by @wmpeaster ~~ Welcome back to Uniland @unimonapp opened its V2 mint on August 5th. Up to 10,000 NFTs are available, with a soft cap of 2,500. If the minimum is hit, battles begin. Each mint includes a Level 1 Unimon, four Energy, and one Unikey. ➢ Energy: Used to evolve Unimons (boosting attack/defense) or revive fainted ones (up to two times each). ➢ Unikeys: Open gachas that drop NFT items — some equipable, some consumable, some redeemable for ETH or UNI. Each Unimon can equip one item, each with unique buffs or debuffs. Item effects are detailed in the Unimon Wiki and tradable on @opensea. Use Unikeys in the Adventure mode’s lootbox via "Insert" and "Open" transactions. Then equip items through your Unidex (top right of Unimon app). Warring for ETH Once minting ends, War mode begins—daily eliminations until one winner remains. Battle cycle (UTC): ➢ 00:00–00:30 — Special Attack: lower-level Unimons can punch up (e.g. Day 1 = Lv 1–2, Day 2 = Lv 1–4). ➢ 00:31–22:59 — Free-for-All: challenge or be challenged. Skip and you faint. ➢ 23:00–23:59 — Admin: cycle resets with maintenance. Battles require two transactions: one to request onchain randomness, one to finalize. Win odds are based on Attack vs. Defense, then modified by items. If a stat drops below zero, that side auto-loses. Revives are capped at two. Winners advance to the next day. The goal: reach the final 64 or higher. Half of mint fees go to the ETH prize pool. The top 64 could split up to 5.5 ETH. The final champ could win 27.75 ETH — over $100K.
