The current inflation structure of Maple and the speed of game patches are clearly flowing in a direction unfavorable to the NXPC price, as evidenced by a very good post from a real player :)
Is the Kartrider in the IP playground just a bait or is it simply a used BGM?
The game's scalability is very good, but I'm curious about how the resulting value increase will be achieved.
Is NXPC being discarded and is it just a cash consumption that is sucking up the Abox...?
✅MaplestoryN Updates & Thoughts
Recently, there was a showcase.
I didn't have high expectations going in, but I felt that the team conveyed their position more than I anticipated.
First of all, I thought it was interesting that the team is sharing APIs with builders to distribute revenue and is working hard to expand the Infinite IP Playground together.
Recently, a web-based app called Smithy was released, allowing players to enhance their equipment without logging into the game.
Additionally, it was announced that the 5th job advancement, which I originally thought would come out next year, is scheduled for release this December.
With the timeline being faster than expected, I got the impression that the team is making a lot of effort for the users.
(You can also see the divided opinions of developers...)
At the end of the showcase, the BGM from KartRider played,
which might have been a hint that Nexspace's new IP game could be related to KartRider? I'm not sure, but it was impressive.
After seeing this showcase and the recent patch, I am currently organizing all characters and the encyclopedia.
I'm not quitting MapleN; rather, I am a user who plays primarily for boss rewards.
Since I hunt for less than an hour a week, my levels are falling behind over time,
and the value of my characters naturally depreciates. The hunting efficiency is obviously 0.
Currently, with my specs, I can challenge Hard Lucid & Damien,
but I believe it is much more efficient to organize my current character cheaply in the short term and prepare for a return by purchasing items that will be released at a bargain before the 5th job update.
The bottom price of items won't drop infinitely due to boss rewards, but if there isn't a major transformative update, a continuous decline is expected.
The ongoing event is very favorable for free-to-play users, which is also a reason for my judgment.
----------------------
*Additionally, I have a one-month-old baby, so I want to spend more time with them.
Therefore, the strategy below is just something I'm thinking about and may not be able to execute.
Currently, I think it's efficient to buy a level 190 support character and support high boss parties for event clears without rewards using various wallets.
This can be used for Absolute equipment to prepare for spec upgrades for the 5th job.
Also, by making small purchases, I can buy very cheap encyclopedia items and only purchase some low-cost equipment like 90-day lock-up + Balrog shoes/Neophyte to use a character with good performance (like a Sader or Captain) to play in a party up to Chaos Papulatus.
Personally, I find it more enjoyable to utilize events for spec upgrades with a very small amount of investment rather than investing a significant amount to upgrade specs.
I am very positive about the 5th job update,
so I am preparing to return around that time.
Of course, if there is another major update before that, the strategy may change again.
I am still enjoying playing MapleN,
and I personally think the team is putting in a lot of effort.
The announcement of the 5th job release being faster than expected and the structure considering long-term operations is evident.
Although I'm not particularly smart... if luck and timing align well,
I believe there are plenty of opportunities to secure decent profits.
In the end, I plan to postpone the challenges of Hard Lucid & Damien
and shift my focus to strategies for new bosses that will appear after the 5th job update.
Soon, I will share how much total profit I made,
and if any other thoughts come to mind, I will write them down later.
Have a great day, everyone!
