I was lying in bed, just casually asking the AI: "Are there any in-depth articles on blockchain governance recently recommended?"
The AI quickly threw a string of results at me: beautiful titles, sharp viewpoints, and well-summarized content, even highlighting the key points for me.
I was quite touched at the time, thinking: this is so convenient!
But when I scrolled to the third article, I suddenly felt something was off—
The viewpoints in these articles were all astonishingly consistent:
It was either "decentralization changes the world" or "public chain governance is a joke."
Either all dreams or all criticisms, where are the analyses with data and debates? Not a single one.
I felt a pang in my heart.
This thing is not "helping me find information"; it is "helping me choose a stance."
So I asked the AI a different question, trying to find some different voices. And the result?
The AI still very politely "optimized" my request, pushing the same tone to me.
At that moment, I suddenly thought of the point made by @Mira_Network:
AI's bias is scarier than AI's hallucinations.
At least hallucinations can be pierced; you can find out they are wrong with a quick check.
But bias? It’s like boiling a frog in warm water, slowly "seasoning" your information world, and you don’t even realize something is off.
By the time you notice, you’ve already gotten used to that "singular world" modified by AI.
So now I’m really a bit scared: AI is not helping me save time, but is gradually rewriting the way I understand the world.
And this is also why @Mira_Network is so hot on @KaitoAI's list:
It’s not about AI making a few typos, but how AI gradually "shapes" the window through which we see the world @arbitrum @Aptos @0xPolygon @shoutdotfun
