Yuanbi Technology completed a US$40 million A2 round of financing, led by ZhongAn International and others
Hong Kong-based fintech group RD Technologies today announced that it has successfully completed nearly US$40 million in Series A2 financing, led by existing and new investors including ZA Global, China Harbor, Bright Venture and Hivemind Capital, as well as Sequoia China (HSG), Eternal Digital, Junshi Investment and Guotai Junan International Private Equity Fund.
Yu Liu, CEO of RD Technology, said: "We are expanding our platform capabilities, deepening global partnerships, optimizing our products and services, and actively preparing to align with the stablecoin licensing regime that will be implemented in Hong Kong on August 1, 2025. ”
At the same time, ZA Bank has signed a strategic cooperation memorandum with it to explore the application of stablecoins in compliant financial services.
As previously reported, RD Technology plans to issue the Hong Kong dollar stablecoin HKDR on Ethereum.
