People - the ignorance is overwhelming on this app. There is no concept of Staking Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a Proof of Work network. Staking is a concept to secure a Proof of Stake network like Solana, Sui and Ethereum where you are locking your asset with a validator for yield.
If a centralized platform offers interest on Bitcoin, you are "loaning" them Bitcoin for interest, not staking it. If they say it's staking they are lying and gaslighting you.
Nothing wrong with loaning Bitcoin for interest, that is a very popular way to generate yield from Bitcoin. But you are giving up custody to a centralized counterparty be aware of the risks.
There are better permissionless defi ways to earn yield on Bitcoin like @ZeusNetworkHQ where the Bitcoin liquidity is available in Solana defi and can be used in actual decentralized yield strategies. This is also coming to @SuiNetwork through projects like @ikadotxyz.
Understand Bitcoin is Proof Of Work. No staking.
To earn yield or interest on Bitcoin with any CEX you are loaning your Bitcoin to them for interest.
