We’ve been deep in the trenches, building the agent infrastructure of the future. One product from the Daydreams suite, the Dreams Router, is getting ready. Here it is in action, processing x402 payment credits with @GroqInc on the backend. Show me a faster way to settle inference payments… I’ll wait. The Dreams Router will be the backbone of agent commerce for @daydreamsagents. The router will support every provider into the future, including Video gen and image gen. (hugging face etc)

Personal life update: after 2 amazing years at LambdaClass, and a crazy summer opening -and being the grillman in- a restaurant back home 🇺🇾 I can say I’m officially back at it! After an amazing call with @gabe_ashe we teamed up with @berto_bau @GerGahn and @tulpalab_ and participated in @ohayo_dojo latest game jam. The submission? A futuristic choice-making rpg game in which you put yourself in the shoes of a rising football star and embrace a challenging career in which everything matters: on and off field. We will create a universe of connected games in which you manage the same player across all titles and decisions you make in one game affect the outcome of the other ones. Stay tuned for more, this is just the beginning! Btw: if you’re in Uruguay, beer is on the house 😉

The design notes for @Pistols_gg that we wrote down in NYC shortly before we went upstate to design the (current) v2 game loop. In retrospect I think we at least partially hit all of these design goals in the base game, but there’s further to go on some parts.

Onchain games have gone through the predictable hype cycle and are easy to criticize. First it was hype then it was disappointment because people were taking too long to build (it’s really f***ing hard) then it was doubt and questioning why they exist (we are here) - otherwise known as a trough of disillusionment Next comes acceptance that this technology is here to stay and serves a specific purpose. But not one that is forced into it by speculators pushing teams in a direction that they think is correct. The focused builders know this. Onchain games serve a specific purpose, and if you don’t lean into this, then you have created an over-engineered game for no reason. You must build onchain games to express the medium - which is verifiable and trustable computation. Many onchain game builders and observers forget this and lump onchain games with every other game. Or do direct comparisons. X is doing well and it’s not onchain, so onchain games have no reason to exist. It’s honestly just lazy. The industry still has a long way to go - we can all agree on that. The faster the world becomes generative, the more bullish you should become on games that are provably fair. There is about to be total abundance. Remember, if you are collecting assets of a game that is not onchain - as soon as those developers choose to shut down, that game is dead and your assets are worthless. Maybe that’s fine with you, cool. Stay curious.
