'Bitcoin Memecoins' is currently trending on X
there is a reason why I've been referring to 'Runes' as $BTC memecoins for months now:
while the sector is one of the most underrated in this space and with the easiest 50 - 100x potential
it has two key issues:
- friction when it comes to UX
- a messaging issue
it's easy to think BTC memecoins should be ignored due to these issues
however, literally every massive sector had these issues in their early days
getting in while these issues exist is exactly what positions you for outsized gains when they get resolved
platforms like @MEonBTC and @XverseApp are building infra to resolve the UX friction issues
the community is starting to come together to simplify messaging to more easily appeal to retail
mainstream adoption for BTC memecoins is a lot closer than many realize
escape velocity soon!

- $BDC
- $SAIKO
- $BIP
- $CYPHER
