A highly discussed open-source project related to trading AI - TradingAgents, has seen its star count rise to 13K in the past few months.
To get straight to the point: originally, this open-source TradingAgent could only analyze US stocks. In less than 3 hours, I modified it using AI Vibe coding to create a crypto version of this TradingAgent and added a web interface. I've made the code open-source (the link is in the comments).
This TradingAgents framework uses Multi-LLM Agents to simulate the operations of a real trading institution, separating roles like analysts, researchers, traders, risk control, and investment directors into independent AI Agents, which interactively analyze and ultimately decide how to place orders. The PNL mentioned in the paper is better than many strategies, and after some practical testing, the entire process is quite good. It fetches different Data Sources for analysis, including historical prices, news, community sentiment, and has divisions for technical, fundamental, and sentiment analysis.
Originally supporting only US stocks, I added support for Crypto (currently supporting some major coins), and since the CLI was too basic, I directly added a Web Interface! Operating through a browser will be more intuitive. I plan to deploy it for everyone to test later (but you'll need to prepare your own API KEY).
I will continue to update this Repo and gradually try to add more Data Sources, as well as modify the Agent's Prompt to make the Agent's performance in crypto analysis more immediate and accurate. Additionally, more Agents can be freely added; DeFi farming and alpha hunting should also be easily integrated into this framework. Ideally, I hope to analyze even MEMEs. It seems that many people are still analyzing whether the code is written by AI. Vibe Coding is currently the trend, and Microsoft and Google have already taken action with layoffs. The efficiency of development using AI is incredibly high. Later, when I have time, I will live stream Vibe Coding on SIDEKICK. You can play games while I have AI code and develop things!
