Very few NFT collections are able to jump into mainstream IP partnerships... Let's see how AH will be able to evolve this over time. 🫣
I am convinced that NFTs will be the home of the next multibillion dollar IPs
We see the following NFTs go beyond PFPs to create new IP streams:
🦍 BAYC - Otherside, ApeChain
🐧 Pudgy Penguins - Toys, Media, Abstract
⛩️ Azuki - AnimeChain, Azuki Studio
🌈 Doodles - Golden Wolf
It’s great to see these NFT brands trying to grow their IP & business just beyond NFTs. Why?
Because being just in NFTs rn is too limiting
However, make no mistake about fading NFTs
The reason why these brands can grow in the first place is because of NFTs
Launching as an NFT collection allowed them to:
- raise initial capital
- build a core community of believers
Both of which are critical as they decide to expand beyond their core business
I haven’t seen this much creativity in crypto space elsewhere apart from NFT space
And this is why NFTs will win
