Curve was hacked, and Ethereum must take responsibility. Resupply was hacked, Curve is innocent.
Comment: The Ethereum Foundation must take responsibility and provide maintenance funding for the industry infrastructure. Currently, Vyper's funding source is entirely dependent on Curve gauge. If the Ethereum Foundation does not take on this responsibility, similar supply chain attacks will continue to occur. Thanks to Curve's design of distributing funds across different contracts, only funds from 5 liquidity pools were stolen this time. What would happen if this occurred in other protocols? It's chilling to think about.
