✅ HOW TO EARN YAPS ✅
📖 A guide for beginners/small accounts 🤓
First of all, mindshare and yaps aren’t the same…
🎯 Mindshare is how much impact your posts have on Crypto Twitter, so basically how many impressions or reach your post has. The more people who see your post, the more mindshare you earn. Some posts are filtered such as spamming or “follow me” posts.
🎯 Yaps are basically points awarded for high quality posts which have previously translated into $KAITO & other benefits such as the ability to get paid per post.
I would say that I’ve intentionally helped more people than probably anyone else on Twitter to earn their first Yaps, so these are my recommendations for earning them: 🧵⬇️
⭕️ Find a support circle
Comment on others’ posts in the community and find the people that always comment back. You help them, they help you. This will boost your impressions and help you get started.
🧠 Find Smart Followers!
Look for “INNER CIRCLE CT” accounts. Nothing else gives you a smart follower (SF). Comment on all of their posts and try to get their attention.
I always find that a recognizable name or standout profile picture works well to get noticed. SFs give you a Yap boost if they engage.
❌ Do not use someone else’s identity
Think of your own name and profile picture. Using a well known influencer’s name or PFP makes you look like a scammer and may even get you banned on X. The chances of getting SF engagements or follows are very low if you do this.
👋 Become a reply guy (or girl)
As a small account your quality posts have little reach. Reply to as many people as possible to grow. If you can get a SF to comment on your own post, that is a massive bonus and if you have a conversation with them in your comments that’s even bigger!
📊 Use charts, tables and diagrams
I’ve noticed that the use of images such as charts or anything technical appears to reward Yaps easier. Try to create informative posts that include these.
🗣️ Post about content outside of Kaito projects
Let’s be honest, the same content about the same project over and over is boring! Even I get bored even though I’m interested.
Most smart followers are not going to engage with this type of post. They’re not interested in airdrop farming and the projects being talked about! So you have to cater to their interest. There seems to be a huge amount of SFs from the NFT community so I’d recommend posting content similar to that.
👊 Bring an active Inner Circle account into the project community.
If you can get a SF into the community, then it’s more likely they’ll engage. Speak to the founders or the team and ask them to DM the SF to try to get them onboard too.
There’s very few actively helping small accounts and airdrop farmers but the ones I know of are:
@thegaboeth @MadVincent666 @youfadedwealth @Jampzey
@what3verman @rrains
👀 Explore the Yapper Feeds on the Kaito site… You will easily find Inner Circle accounts to engage with.
🙅♂️ Do not use AI to reply
AI replies are too obvious and it’s seen as lazy. If you need to use AI then use it as a draft and edit the content to seem more human. (Remove all the - and make some errors. It’s fine)
Let me know if this helps and give me a follow as I will be creating more content like this to help you all! 🫡
