Why do you always lose money when you speculate on coins? Because there is no investment system
99% of retail investors are not because they are not talented, but because they do not have their own investment system.
Plainly:
You're not investing
You're betting on the market
You don't have a system
There are only emotions
This article is written for you - to teach you how to build your own investment knowledge system and opinions.
Don't copy KOLs, don't rely on blindness, and don't wait for the teacher to call orders
1/ What is an "investment body of knowledge"?
It's not a back candlestick
It's not a few tricks
It's not a daily swipe on Twitter
But:
You can use your own logic to understand market movements and make decisions using your own models.
In layman's terms:
Others blow up warehouses as soon as there is a stir
You can calmly review + improve your strategy
Others judge by the news
You judge by the frame
This is called the investment system.
2/ There are two kinds of people in the world of investment:
The first way: buy SOL today, chase AI tomorrow, and rush memecoin the day after tomorrow
The second type: there is a point of view, a model, and an execution, and the trend does not come, and it is heavy when it comes
There is only one word for the difference: system
Do you swipe X to see the Twitter god think he's a cow?
In fact, he just has a framework, a cognition, and a feedback system
And you, just chasing hot spots
3/ How does the system work? Four steps:
【Step1 Imagine】——What kind of investor do you want to be?
Long term? Days? Arbitrage? Trend? Value?
Don't have a hammer in the east and a stick in the west every day
Start by choosing a direction and digging deeper into an area:
Are you planning to hold BTC for the long term? Then we must study macro policy + big cycle
Do you want to play Hotspot Rotation? Then pay attention to the on-chain emotion + narrative hype logic
Are you a technocracy? Then be proficient in trends, energy, handicaps, and structures
Without focus, there is no depth.
【Step2 Design】——Build your investment map
To give you a three-tier structure template for an investment system:
📌 Cognitive layer (understanding how the market works)
Macro logic: inflation, interest rate hikes, risk appetite
On-chain structure: mainstream currency behavior, chain fee changes, TVL trend
Market roles: market makers, market makers, retail investors
📌 Tool layer (what do you judge it with)
Technical indicators: trend + energy + divergence
Data platforms: Arkham, Lookonchain, Santiment, Dexscreener
Analytical Methodology: Sentiment Cycle, Chip Distribution, Money Flow
📌 Strategy layer (how you do it)
Regular investment? Trend? Grab the narrative? Arbitrage? Copy Trading?
Formulate your own position opening logic, take-profit and stop-loss, and risk control boundaries
You have to fill in these things by long-term reading + practice + review.
【Step3 Construction】——Feed the cognitive system with your "second brain".
Stop using your head and start recording:
✅ Every time you burst a pull, you ask yourself: who is pulling? Why pull? Where's the message? What do you think about on-chain data?
✅ Every time you plummet, check the chain: who smashed it? Did you transfer money in advance? Can this signal be reused?
✅ For each profit/loss, it is recorded:
What signal did you see at the time?
Is it right?
How can you optimize this type of judgment?
This is called "using the market to teach you to evolve".
Build your own card library with Obsidian / Notion / Logseq
Each card records a concept, a review, and a reflection
You will eventually have a cognitive system of your own.
【Step4 Update】——Regularly dismantle your old cognitions
The coin circle is getting too fast
Yesterday I fried AI, today I fried RWA, and tomorrow I will fry Chatbot
You can't use the "bull market logic" of 2021 to set the "money game" in 2025
Remember one sentence:
Cognition is not something to be kept, it is something to be broken.
Ask yourself regularly:
Is my strategy still working?
How long has it been since my model was validated?
Is the assumption behind this view still valid?
point of view, to evolve; system, to review.
4/ How can you tell if you have a system?
Ask yourself three questions:
Can you explain in one sentence what is the dominant logic of the current market? Do you have a clear "open/take-profit/stop-loss" model? Can you review your operations in the past month?
Can't answer? Then what you are speculating on now is not coins, but emotions.
5/
The ones who really make a lot of money are never the "well-informed" people
People who have a reusable, upgradable, and risk-resistant system
So:
Don't look at the plate for another day
Don't copy other people's homework anymore
Start building your own investment brain today
📌 Investing is an infinite game
📌 The routine will change, but the system will keep you at the table forever
