DeThings, May 6, according to Aave officials, the ARFC proposal on deploying Aave V3 on the Aptos mainnet has been approved by the community. The next stage will be to submit the AIP (Aave Improvement Proposal) for on-chain voting, after which it will be officially launched.
According to the proposal released by the Aave Governance Forum on April 16, the Aave community has started the governance process of deploying Aave V3 to the Aptos mainnet. This is Aave's first entry into the non-EVM chain, aiming to improve the protocol's performance and expand its user base with the high throughput, low cost, and security features of the Move language of Aptos. Deployed assets include APT, USDC, USDT, and sUSDe, and risk parameters have been provided by Chaos Labs and Llama Risk. The Aptos Foundation has also pledged to provide up to 2 million APT in liquidity incentive support.
