How do I set up the Global Trading account?
To give Brazilian users more trading flexibility, we now offer the option to open a Global Trading account. This account can be accessed with the same login credentials you already use — meaning you’ll have one login and two accounts:
Your Brazil (BR) account
Your Global Trading account (under OKX El Salvador)
Do I need to open a Global Trading account?
No, opening a Global Trading account is optional. It's designed for users who want access to products that are not available in the Brazilian jurisdiction, such as:
Advanced trading products
Certain global features and products
If you only use products already available in Brazil, you can continue trading with your BR account as usual.
Can I change my Country of Residence (COR) after opening a Global Trading account?
Yes, but with an important condition:
If you want to update your COR from Brazil to another supported location, you must first close your Global Trading account.
Once the Global Trading account is closed, you’ll be able to update your COR as usual.

How do I open a Global Trading account?
On the app
Enter the User center via the Menu and select Global Trading account to start applying
Select Apply under the Global Trading account option
You can also access it through Trade > Global Trading account once you've selected Menu.

When the disclaimer page opens, read and review it before confirming your acknowledgment by checking the required boxes

The status will be showing Reviewing at the Global Trading account status under the Account info section. Select Learn more if you want to find out more about Global Trading Account.
You'll see your account under the 'Reviewing' status once applied under the Global Trading account option
Once approved, the Global Trading account will be showing your account details, for example, your account's email
On the web
Access your profile by selecting Profile (human icon) > Profile > Trading profile > Global Trading account and select the Apply option on it

Proceed to confirm your application by reading and acknowledging the disclaimer

The status will be stating Reviewing at the Global Trading account status under the Account info section. Select Learn more if you want to find out more about Global Trading Account.

You're now ready to switch between accounts, as the Global Trading account will be showing your account details, for example, your account's email
Once you've been approved to use dual accounts, your details will appear at the Global Trading account option
How do I switch between either accounts?
Similar process as applying, access to the Global Trading account via Profile (human icon) > Profile > Global Trading account option and select the Switch option to switch between accounts.
