Developer's perspective on Allora Network Allora Network (@AlloraNetwork) is, as I mentioned last time, an AI oracle layer. To briefly explain this again, blockchains cannot directly access the outside world (data, AI inference) → oracles are needed. Existing oracles have been strong with "observables like prices," but nowadays dApps require 'intelligent outputs' such as future risks, demand, and anomaly detection. Allora's differentiating factor is that it supplies this intelligence itself. But what is it built on? It has its own L1 (Cosmos SDK app chain) that handles incentives and settlements, and it supplies results to the EVM side (e.g., Arbitrum, Sepolia) through consumer contracts. So from a developer's perspective: 1. Select a topic (desired signal/prediction subject). 2. Deploy the consumer contract → verify the correct signature and format while reading Allora's inference values. 3. Combine with on-chain logic (risk parameters, interest rates/collateral, automatic rebalancing, alerts, etc.). It can be directly linked to consumers deployed on EVM chains (Arbitrum, Sepolia). This is how development is expected to proceed. Somehow ended up studying this...
@AlloraNetwork So to summarize: Allora = "Oracle of Intelligence" It is a layer that allows multiple models to compete, evaluate, and synthesize to create situationally aware predictions, which can be reliably consumed on-chain. It is well-suited for areas that 'make rules smart' such as DeFi, RWA, security, and alerts.
