Perks have been teased on the Abstract Portal for a while now but we have some clues on what to expect.
- Abstract teased a small cut off of a "travel credits" progress bar back in January in an image on X.
- @LucaNetz, CEO of Pudgy Penguins & co-founder of Abstract, mentioned how the XP system will last beyond the Abstract TGE.
- In an interview, @CashBowie, co-founder of Abstract, teased & expanded upon not only perks but the decision people will have to make with their XP:
"Normies don't give a shit about a token and they would want to convert XP into almost like the Amex travel or chase sapphire program where they convert it into travel and flight rewards, accommodations, to things like, because of our relationships, a Super Bowl suite or World Cup tickets".
Imagine a world where a chain rewarded you similar to top credit cards, in the sense that you can earn tangible benefits for using it parallel to your normal behavior and actions.
Outside of just providing an ecosystem where you can thrive and earn by things you enjoy on chain.
