[ Thoughts on the market + positioning ] Very bullish going into October. The chart below by Syk really puts it into perspective on Bitcoin. For onchain, the OTHERS/BTC makes it even more clear. [ see first image below ] We have respected the 8-year trend (orange line). A bounce here has always signaled a broader risk-on environment. The AI Agent szn from Q4 (purple box) was a taste of what we are about to experience. Where are we now? [ see red circle + second image ] Zooming in, you see we respected a 3-year downtrend and are showing signs of reversal. An inverse HS on the 3D played out (charted this out on stream), now going for a retest after the breakout. Just because we are about to pump doesn't mean we go back to a 2021 style alt szn. That's dead imo. The "cycle" has shown we need to play momentum/narratives and be picky. ➡️ For sized plays, look for outperformers/alts with momentum like what $PUMP did or what $ASTER is about to do (free under $2 imo). ➡️ For preps, I’ll be looking for longs on Fartcoin, DOGE, and ETH (or ETH beta like EIGEN). ➡️ For onchain, several narratives have shown potential. Coming out of these lows, best move is to watch for a resurgence in the following narratives: - ICM (real businesses/revenue) - PM (huge adoption potential) - RWA (Onboarding TradFi/normies) - CCM (crypto x streamer culture crossover) Markets have an appetite for fundamentals / something new (i.e. Aster, Viva, Cards, Flipr/Pcule, and Bagwork/Kind). These sectors have some of the most bullish setups/implications. Over the coming months (and potentially well into 2026), capital will flow into this space like we have never seen before. While we wait, underlying fundamentals and momentum will build up as narratives/thesis' start playing out. Capital is better allocated to tokenized revenue-generating businesses, projects onboarding new users, and those capturing mainstream attention. The best ROI plays moving forward (unless some insanely new tech comes out) will likely come from these sectors imo. Tons of opportunities/trades ahead of us. The Great Lock In begins.
