Agree. I do think native AA is not that straightforward but it should have been prioritized on Ethereum many years ago. That was the message of my talk at Devcon Bogotá in 2022 and part of the reason we are now building on @Starknet.
After spending the past year working on account abstraction, I’ve realized that—unlike L2s—it didn’t actually require any major research breakthrough to make it work. Looking back, I think we should have prioritized making it a native feature of Ethereum many years ago.
