The Line has finally come to an end, and @Surf_Copilot is still quite accurate. I just asked again for bottom-fishing advice: 1. If it continues to drop, wait and see. 2. If there are signs of a rebound, entry price is 0.0255. First, build a 20% position on the spot, place an order at 0.0255, hoping to get filled. Looking at 0.04 in the medium term, this is the last hope for L2. 💪
Linea has launched on Binance Alpha, what opportunities are there? I just heard this news and I'm quite puzzled. @LineaBuild is not a small project and it doesn't lack traffic. It has native integration with MetaMask, a zkEVM technology upgrade roadmap, and a dual burn mechanism (80% $LINEA + 20% ETH), all of which make it stand out in the L2 space, with no shortage of promotion and liquidity. So why go for Binance Alpha? I casually asked @Surf_Copilot, and along with other voices in the community, I feel this is a textbook version of market control, a stable opportunity to capitalize on, take note: 1. Buffer FDV For a project of Linea's size, if it goes directly to Binance's main site, the FDV will definitely be pushed to extremely high levels by market sentiment (refer to the 80B+ scenario of Aptos/ARB). This would actually be a burden for early investors and the team, because once the unlock happens in the future, it will create significant selling pressure. The Alpha market, being "semi-official," provides a low circulation, controllable testing ground. 2. Tied to airdrop timing The unlock time for airdrop recipients is also two days later, coinciding with Binance Alpha, meaning once they receive it, they can sell, but it's Binance Alpha. 3. Burn mechanism hedging experiment Currently, 2.6% of $LINEA has already been burned, indicating they want to "sell while burning" in the Alpha market, observing whether it can hedge against selling pressure. This is somewhat like an on-chain currency laboratory, which is very valuable for future policy design for main site trading. Of course, the community will see "Burn 2.6% but release 3%" and feel there is a net increase in supply, which is a negative feedback the Alpha phase must endure. 4. Trading range game The pre-market has already anchored the price in the $0.035–0.055 range. If Alpha opens below $0.03, there will be a fierce "self-reinforcing downward cycle." However, I actually think if it opens down to $0.025–0.03, this position is almost caused by "irrational selling pressure" + "market self-trampling" leading to overselling. It could be a good point to watch closely, possibly an opportunity to bottom out. ✅ Summary: I believe Linea going on Binance Alpha is to parachute the opening—completing price discovery in the smallest circulation and the smallest public opinion arena, releasing the selling pressure of the airdrop recipients while avoiding the FDV being inflated too high. There are still the main sites of various exchanges as a positive factor, so it depends on how to bottom out, with 0.025–0.03 being an important observation point (as suggested by @Surf_Copilot). In the long run, Linea's ecosystem TVL has exceeded 1.2 B (Aave accounts for 50%), and the Ignition incentive program in October will release 1 B LINEA rewards as scheduled, with ecosystem lock-up potentially hedging against unlock selling pressure, allowing for sustained expansion of FDV. (The crypto market is ever-changing, not investment advice.)
