Had a chance to go over prediction markets for games today. And for pre-IPO markets generally
-@MyriadMarkets had the best UI/UX but the information when you click in is confusing
-kalshi had no markets for gaming
-@ForkastGG is an underdog with potential; it is very gaming-focused
For pre-IPO
-@joinearlybird and @ventuals_ didn’t feel that different
I think the Ventuals UI reminds me more of Blur while Early Bird feels more like Robinhood
My only issue with pre-IPO markets is that the settlements are really slow
Waiting for bankruptcy, IPO, or purchase of a company is a multi-year affair. Not as satisfying as predictions. I think pre-IPO predictions are interesting if the pre-IPO companies have more open books.
