This morning I didn't have much inspiration to write a skit, so today I'll just briefly talk about @build_on_bob.
In the past, I wanted Bitcoin to participate in smart contracts, but it either relied on unreliable cross-chain bridges or had to mess with sidechains, which were either unsafe or fragmented in experience. BOB took a different approach: instead of hard-forking Bitcoin, it borrowed its security and built on Ethereum's mature development environment. The result is that developers can deploy with Solidity at the click of a button, and users can use BTC while feeling like they're engaging in regular DeFi, without needing to swap anything or worry about anything.
What's even smarter is that Gas can be paid directly in Bitcoin, and the system automatically converts it to stablecoins for settlement, preserving BTC's value storage advantage while avoiding the hassle of price volatility. You don't need to withdraw coins or trust intermediaries; your Bitcoin can earn interest right where it is. This kind of "invisible" innovation might be the key to truly bringing blockchain into everyday life.
