Finding your ‘Slow Cook’ If you’re getting burned endlessly rotating through the next launchpad/memescope slot machine rotation, my advice is to stick to coins with good teams shipping relentlessly. They should also have ‘market awareness’. The following are a few rough things I look at for identifying what I call ‘slow cooks’: 1. Does what they’re building have real market demand? (Rev buyback tokens with products that have PMF fit this best $Hype) 2. Is it part of a hot narrative everyone’s blindly throwing money at? (AI/Robotics $Codec $REI, established meme communities $Troll $Labubu, SocialFi $Zora, etc.) 3. Have they thought through the tokenomics? (If the token was launched by the community and slapped on the founder e.g $spark and #littleguy it’s just a memecoin and you’re at the mercy of the cabal) 4. Do they have strong core supporters and a public champion? ($BTC has Saylor, $Eth has Tom Lee, $Codec has Theo, $Rei has Plata and Kinnif) So these are a few considerations when you decide to stop rotating and you start believing in something.
