Programmable Bitcoin, but smarter. Smart wallets are a form of "wallets" implemented as smart contracts for flexible asset management & custom controls. Check out the latest episode where we dive deep into 3 different implementations of smart wallets. Let's briefly go over them 🧵
/ An early smart wallet implementation by a few developers at Hiro. The unique mechanism with this implementation is its usage of rules as lists that are folded over in order to determine if a co-signer is required or not. The lists of rules can span different kinds and assets.
/ Friedger's adaptation of previous smart wallet / DAO designs. Security in smart wallets is paramount when dealing with multiple stakeholders. A set-security-level function acts as a built-in circuit breaker or mode switch for the wallet instantly lock down certain actions.
/ Bitflow's Keeper smart wallets Keepers are AI powered smart wallets that leverage standardized extensibility via keeper-action-trait contracts. All the complex logic lives outside in separately maintained contracts, while the core wallet just stays clean and secure.
/ Big thanks to @StacksDeveloper for making a cameo appearance to share more insights on the design and future of Keeper smart wallets. For the featured video link to this new Smart Contract of the Month episode:
