I've revised my view — I now believe ETH can reach its ATH before SOL, primarily driven by strong demand from both DAT and the ETF. SOL may struggle to reach its ATH this year without strong demand from emerging buyers such as DAT and ETF inflows.
@mike_prestolabs convert $pengu profit to Pudgy Penguins ETF.
I’ve rotated some $BTC and $PENGU into Ethereum-based @pudgypenguins NFTs, as the risk/reward setup looks compelling with the floor price still under 10 ETH.
My thesis:
- Ethereum ETF inflows are accelerating amid growing corporate interest in ETH treasury strategy
- Ethereum is emerging as the institutional and stablecoin base layer (e.g., Coinbase, Robinhood, and likely other TradFi players).
- ETH/BTC appears to be bottoming out.
- $PENGU is rallying on ETF speculation, but the Pudgy Penguins NFT floor has yet to catch up.
- Per CANARY PENGU ETF filings, 80–95% of the fund will be allocated to $PENGU and 5–15% to Pudgy Penguins NFTs. Given the illiquid nature of NFTs and relatively smaller market cap, even moderate ETF inflows could trigger sharp price spikes.
- @pumpdotfun token may soak up Solana meme coin liquidity, which could affect $PENGU in the short term.
- A potential Abstract airdrop to NFT holders is expected in Q4 2025
