I was jamming with the wallet crew about Ronin Profiles and some of the frictions we've seen so far.
We plan on having two tracks to cater to both Keyless and Seed wallets:
Keyless: strip the recovery password. clean, seamless on-chain actions. no signing pop-ups.
Seedphrase Users: spin up a profile using your seed phrase. Add email. Also considering removing the need to even add an email.
Right now, users need to create a keyless wallet and then attach their seed wallets to that, which is some extra steps/annoying.
The profile will evolve a ton over time, but we wanted to get something tangible out. Ship. Gather feedback. Improve. Till victory.
