@l2beat just reorganized their L2 tracker, to clearly divide those who meet the requirements to be considered a real L2 from those who don't Let's start by saying that surely there are projects that have been recategorized because the L2Beat framework is not entirely suitable for them: L2Beat does a great job, but there is a lot of innovation, and some of the projects that have been pushed to "others" ARE serious and ARE meeting the promises. I'm sure L2beat will recognize this and amend this choice soon. So this is not an analysis of any specific Chain, but while specificities matter for each individual project, errors get evened out in aggregates. So let's analyze the stacks! What does the average serious builder use?
Let's start with the worst stacks: who has the largest number of "others"? And the winner is .... @Optimism OP Stack This is the stack used by the people who "actually don't meet the promise" ... or not yet

But this could be biased? OP Stack could be just used much much more So is this the reason why there's lots of people who "don't meet promises" using OP Stack? Let's test it by checking the ratios of Real Validiums + Real Rollups vs Total ... and no, still the case
