Introducing OEV-Boosted USDC Vault:
This is the first of a new range of Yearn-curated @MorphoLabs vaults that use @Api3DAO oracles. These vaults boost yields by distributing OEV revenue to depositors during periods of market volatility.

What is OEV?
OEV stands for Oracle Extractable Value, and it is a subset of MEV. When a lending market has an imminent liquidation, there is value to be captured from being able to perform the liquidation and order transactions around that liquidation.
In the past, Liquidator bots would enter into gas price auctions to buy the right to perform liquidations and order blocks with liquidations in them. They could all see the value sitting there and competed to get it. Because they were all bidding against each other, most of the value was leaked to the validators.
API3's OEV network changes this dynamic by obscuring the oracle data and auctioning it off to liquidators. This shifts the value capture from Validators to the protocol where the liquidation occurs, increasing yields.
Yearn's new OEV-Boosted Vaults incorporate this feature by exclusively using API3 oracles. You get:
✅ Better Yield
✅ Clear Oracle Scope - API3 Oracles only
✅ Oracle Diversity - More yearn Offerings with different oracles.
