How do I verify my wallet address?
If you're withdrawing crypto to a new address, you'll need to complete a one-time verification to confirm that you own the address you're withdrawing to.
Follow this step-by-step guide to verify your address and provide the necessary travel rules information.
Firstly, when OKX detects that you are withdrawing to a new address, you will be prompted with a cautionary reminder. Please make sure to carefully read our reminders before selecting OK.

Once you've read our cautionary reminder, please select the category of wallet you are withdrawing to.

Exchanges or platform
For exchanges or platform, please select the correct entity from our dropdown list If the entity is not listed, please select Add to add it to our entity list.

Once you've selected your exchange or platform, you will be prompted for additional information due to Travel Rule requirements. Please fill in the information and click next to proceed with your withdrawal.

Private Wallets
For private wallets, we currently provide 2 options to verify your wallet, Digital Signature and
. The default verification method is Digital signature. If you'd like to change your verification method, please select Switch verification method.

Verifying with Digital Signature
To complete your verification via digital signature, you will need to follow the steps below:

OKX Offers multiple wallet connection choices. If you are using the OKX Wallet extension, select Connect. Alternatively, you can select Other for other wallet options.
Note: Other wallet connections are currently not supported on the OKX SG App, please use the Web:

If you choose to connect your wallet via WalletConnect, you can scan the QR code or select All Wallets to pick the wallet that you are using.

Once you've connected your wallet, OKX will prompt your wallet for a signature. Please follow the instructions on your connected wallet to sign the message.
Provide your signature to connect your wallet
Once signed, you'll see that your wallet has been successfully verified. Please note that you will be prompted for additional information due to Travel Rule requirements. Please fill in the information and click next to proceed with your withdrawal.
Verifying with Satoshi Test
To complete your verification via Satoshi test, you will need to follow the steps below:

Select the cryptocurrency you want to deposit from the dropdown list. Once selected, the deposit instructions will appear.
Select crypto from the dropdown list
Follow the deposit instructions and select I've made the deposit once completed. You'll then be asked to provide additional information to meet Travel Rule requirements.
Follow the deposit instructions to complete your deposit
The Satoshi test deposit will be sent to your account. You can continue entering your withdrawal details, but the withdrawal will remain on hold until your address is verified.

The test deposit will appear in your OKX account. Please check the Deposit tab for confirmation.
