What do I need to know?

  • Our P2P platform doesn't provide any escrow service.

  • We’ll never instruct you to release crypto before you’ve confirmed the actual receipt of funds in your bank account.

  • We’ll never ask for personal information like email, chat handles, or social media accounts.

  • We don’t control local banking systems, so we can’t guarantee the timing or success of transfers.

How do I protect myself from P2P Fraud?

  • Always confirm the actual bank transfer has arrived before releasing your crypto — never trust screenshots or videos alone.

  • Keep personal contact details private and avoid trades with users showing suspicious activity.

  • Verify all email senders before responding. When unsure, use OKX’s official channels.

  • Be cautious with links and attachments, especially those from unknown or unexpected sources.

  • Ignore urgent requests for personal details or immediate action.

  • Report any merchant or email that appears suspicious to p2p@okx.com immediately.

  • Enable 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) to add an extra layer of security to your account.

What do I need to do now?

Here’s how you can activate it:
