I've done some Scrypt mining in the past ...
I'm not sure what I think of this subnet ultimately, but it IS an interesting way to onramp existing $DOGE and $LTC miners into Bittensor $TAO.
Bittensor Subnet 109 is now live and @layer_doge just became the first mining pool in the world to plug real Scrypt hashpower (DOGE + LTC) directly into Bittensor.
A breakthrough for the ecosystem:
Traditional miners keep their native DOGE/LTC rewards
+ earn subnet rewards
+ strengthen a decentralized intelligence network
all with zero hardware changes.
For the first time, PoW miners can turn raw hashpower into usable intelligence inside an open market.
A new utility layer.
A transparent reward model.
And a path for thousands of miners to enter the TAO economy without leaving their existing setups.
