v2 $DARKDROP update! We were literally 1 instruction away from shipping Token-2022 confidential transfers. Proofs generate in the browser, everything works, but Solana’s zk-elgamal verifier is still disabled on mainnet. i tried to create a custom rpc and run a private cluster/validator but the chain doesent allow me to use a custom rpc especially backpack. check images for proofs and thats literally 1 instruction away and tried everything that i can do for overriding those heavy codes/repo that handles the zk elgamal but still no luck. so whats the plan? Instead of waiting months and overriding those repo from solana and anza. ( respect to @aeyakovenko ) in the next 24–72 hours we’re shipping Light Protocol shielded drops as the default v2 privacy mode. Same 3-click UX. Amounts + sender/receiver links hidden on-chain. Works with SOL and USDC right now. When zk-elgamal comes back, we just flip a toggle. ill keep everyone posted Dev’s running on coffee and spite. Back to my keyboard.
